We pride ourselves on building strong relationships through high-quality collaborations, fostering the talents and gifts of other creatives, all with the purpose of creating meaningful stories that last.
We are sisters who share a love of storytelling.
Abbi & Stefanie Butler, also known as The Butler Sisters, have been telling stories together since they were kids, creating them from scratch and 'hiring' their siblings and friends as cast and crew. They are multifaceted creators, using their talents in acting, writing, directing, producing, songwriting, and creative storytelling. For years they have produced projects under Butler Sisters Productions, including their first short film, Same (2018), which went on to win 2nd place at the Christian Worldview Film Festival in the Honor Your Father Contest as well as their second short film, A Chance Encounter (2023), which Stefanie wrote and directed. It had its world premier at the Paladino D'Oro Film Festival in Sicily, Italy where it was nominated for an award and is now available to watch on Vimeo and YouTube.
The Butler Sisters created their production company, Living Stones Pictures, in 2024. For the past several years, they have served as creative directors and programmers for live events, including Story Conference, under Istoria Creative and the upcoming Franklin Film Festival. They are currently in pre-production on several projects, including Ashes, a documentary which follows a young family of musicians who lost their home in the Palisades fires, leading us to ask the question, how do you keep creating in the midst of so much devastation? They are also producing a sports biopic titled Against All Odds about their father, major league baseball player, Brett Butler. They are fortunate to have the incredible Shane Graham attached to play Brett.
